The Avocet approach has three vital components
We take time to get to know your business, its culture, its key objectives and deliverables; by doing this we can best represent you to potential candidates and also identify which of those candidates will present you with the best “fit”.
We do this by spending time discussing your organisation and asking what priorities within the business the vacant position will be addressing. We then discuss in detail the job description and how it relates to the business priorities. Only then will we ask about the qualifications required for the role.
Most recruiters only ask about qualifications for the role and then, at best, for about 10 minutes and spend no time whatsoever on learning about and understanding your business. All of which leads to the endless cycle of chasing the “wrong” candidates before requesting a further meeting, or even meetings, with you to “fully understand the role”. We don’t waste your time in that way – we discover all this in our initial meeting. Working with Avocet will actually reduce the time it takes you to recruit.

Where candidates with the background and experience you seek are scarce, you need your chosen recruitment partner to promote you to potential employees – we can only do this by taking the time to understand the business and where the role fits in.
We also supply both contract and interim personnel. Projects often need a single individual at the helm and current staff may be unable to take up this mantle; when this is the case, an interim manager is an excellent solution, affording you access to focused, relevant skills but without the long term financial commitment.
